What is Linx Homechoice?

Linx HomeChoice is the scheme operated by NewLinx Housing Trust, in partnership with East Lindsey District Council to enable you to find details of homes available to rent in Lincolnshire.

You can:

  • Search for available properties
  • Express an interest for properties you are interested in
  • Apply to join our housing register
  • Get information about other housing options available to you

Linx Homechoice provides you with choice in selecting a home and deciding where you want to live. You don’t need to be registered to look, but you do to express an interest.

Newsflash - Welfare Reform

If you claim Housing Benefit to help pay your rent you may be affected by changes the Government are introducing from April 2013.

The changes mean that some people will get less Housing Benefit than they did before.

Read about how this might affect you

Linx Homechoice

New Linx began using Linx Homechoice to let vacant properties in 2007 and East Lindsey District Council became a partner in 2010 in a bid to make accessing social housing more straightforward.

The majority of properties advertised through this scheme are owned by New Linx Housing Trust although properties owned by other landlords will be advertised from time to time. Properties are located across Lincolnshire within any of the seven Local Authority areas.

You can now express interest through our text service.
